Specialist Course

Civil society organisations (CSO) working in the Madagascar and Indian Ocean biodiversity hotspot (MADIO) need to respond effectively to counter growing threats to biodiversity and to help develop sustainable livelihoods. This master class is designed to give key staff the skills they need to deliver well-designed projects that will have measurable impacts on the ground.

While there is a wealth of good practice and experience existing in the region, there is also a need to scale up in order to benefit priority conservation programmes across the hotspot. Building the capacity of CSOs in the region will enable them to grow and be more successful in attracting support.
