Published papers are among the outcomes of TBA's activities. Designing, carrying out and writing up research projects is an integral part of the TBA month-long courses and abstracts of the student projects are available here. Some students go on to get their papers published, as are some of the class exercises, while staff and teachers on the courses may collect data that they use in their own research publications. Other TBA activities, such as the Darwin project on invasive species, also result in publications. Details are given below.
As part of the TBA month-long courses, students get the opportunity to design and undertake their own research projects, usually in groups of two or three. Work done on courses has, in some cases, resulted in published papers and references are given below. The location and year of the course are given in brackets.
